Harriet is the person you want by your side when you’re looking for your next great read. A natural problem solver and ideas girl, she’s also a book juggler extraordinaire—somehow managing to recommend, stack, and organise books all at once! Her love for chatting with customers makes every visit memorable.

Heather is the kind of person who makes everyone feel at home. With her incredible empathy and excellent listening skills, she’s always ready to help. She knows and adores all things Maileg—ask her anything! And don’t be surprised if you hear her infectious (and slightly ‘bad’) laugh brightening up the shop.

Matilda’s cheerful presence lights up the shop. She’s our packaging expert, ensuring every gift is wrapped with care and creativity. When she’s not busy making brilliant cups of tea, you might catch her twirling around the shop—bringing a little extra joy to everyone’s day.

Jane’s passion for books is contagious. She loves sharing her enthusiasm with customers and is always ready to give an excellent recommendation. In an emergency, Jane is the one you can count on—calm, resourceful, and always there to help.

Ian is our go-to for all things tech, publicity, and book suggestions. He’s also our resident Elf & Safety expert (with a knack for bad jokes!). When he’s not talking books or solving tech puzzles, you’ll find him cheering on his beloved Blackpool FC.
