Time flies and before you know it another week has gone by! I think it is because life is so busy, charity breakfasts, watching Twelfth Night at East Riddlesden Hall, the A Level results hit, we had story time at the shop on Saturday afternoon. These were free events where Ian and I each choose a book, mine was Mouse's Wood by Alice Melvin for younger readers, whilst Ian picked I Am Wolf by Alistair Chisholm for 8+ readers. Then on Saturday evening we hosted a surprise 50th birthday party for Debs. A new offering at our shop, its called Books and Fizz! Reserve our lovely shop for an evening so you can buy books at your leisure and enjoy a glass of fizz. Just give us a call to get a date in the diary.
Willow and I managed to do a 'walk to the shop' live Instagram post this morning, watch back if you missed it, she was really good this time and didn't run off just tied me up in knots so I had to twirl down the street, that's okay, I love twirling but mainly in the shop!
